In the last seven days, 15 people have died at Kent hospitals after testing positive for coronavirus.
According to NHS England, between November 1-7, 11 people died at Medway NHS Foundation Trust after contracting the virus.
Another four people died at East Kent Hospitals Trust in the same period.
These latest figures are a 50 per cent increase from the previous week (October 25-31), when 10 COVID-related deaths were recorded at Kent hospitals.
Since the start of the pandemic, 1,120 people have now died at Kent hospitals after testing positive for the virus.
At Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust 250 deaths have been recorded, 215 were at Medway NHS Foundation Trust, 133 at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and 48 at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust.
There has been one recorded death at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.
